Tajweed & Qur'an practice

Tajweed practice, every day.

Test yourself on any Tajweed rule and build a daily habit with the rule of the day. Teachers create classes, draft quizzes from a topic or a worksheet photo, and grade every answer. They review every question before a student sees it.

What Itqan does

From first self-test to final grade.

Learners get self-tests and a rule a day. Teachers get classes, quiz drafting from a topic or a worksheet photo, and grading.

Self-tests on any rule

Sign up on your own (no institution needed) and quiz yourself on any Tajweed topic, at your level. Three self-tests a day on the free plan.

A rule a day

The rule-of-the-day card gives you one focused idea each time you open the app, in English or Arabic.

Classes & join codes

Create a class and share a join code. Students enter the code to enrol, so there's no roster to upload and no spreadsheet to keep in sync.

AI-drafted quizzes from a topic

Pick a Tajweed topic (Madd, Idghaam, Qalqalah), a level and a length. Itqan drafts the questions; you review every one.

Scan a worksheet

Photograph a paper worksheet you already use. Itqan reads it and turns it into a draft quiz for you to edit.

Review & grade

Grade submissions with the answer key beside each response, add a note, and release results when you're ready.

How it works

Learn, test, understand.

The same loop whether you're practising on your own or sitting a quiz your teacher set.

Step 01 · Rule of the day

Learn a rule

One rule each day, with the letters it applies to and the ayah it appears in.

Step 02 · Self-test

Test yourself

Pick any Tajweed topic and answer at your own level. Every Qur'anic snippet is verified against the canonical Qur'an text.

Step 03 · Results

See why

Every answer comes back with the rule that applies and the ayah it came from, so a wrong answer still teaches you something.

Teacher-controlled AI

The AI does the typing. You stay the teacher.

Every AI-drafted question is yours to review, edit or remove before any student sees it. Every ayah Itqan generates is matched against the canonical Qur'an text first, character for character.

Free-plan limits apply per institution. Archived classes and students you've removed don't count against them. AI drafts are counted per calendar month; scanning a worksheet or writing a quiz by hand doesn't use one. Subscriptions are managed by the institution owner on the web. We're still settling what the institution plan includes, so write to us for the current scope and price.

Questions

Good to know.

What is Itqan?

Itqan is a companion for practicing Tajweed. Learners sign up on their own and test themselves with self-quizzes and a rule-of-the-day card; madrasas, Islamic schools, and their teachers use it to run classes, build quizzes, and grade student work.

Can I use Itqan without a school?

Yes. Sign up on your own (no institution needed) and practice with self-tests on any Tajweed topic, plus a rule-of-the-day card in English or Arabic. You can even try a sample quiz before creating an account.

Does the AI replace the teacher?

No. Itqan uses AI to help draft questions, but a teacher reviews and approves every quiz before release. Every ayah Itqan generates is matched against the canonical Qur'an text first. Questions you type yourself, or pull off a worksheet photo, aren't checked that way — those stay yours to verify.

Which riwayah does Itqan follow?

Hafs 'an 'Asim, by the tariq of ash-Shatibiyyah. Every ruling Itqan teaches, every ayah it quotes and every madd length it counts follows that reading, and the Qur'an text is the KFGQPC Hafs Uthmanic Script from the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex. If you or your students recite in another riwayah, Itqan will mark answers wrong that are right in your tradition.

How do students join a class?

The teacher shares a simple join code. Students enter the code to enrol, so there's no roster to upload and no student passwords for the teacher to manage. A student does need their own Itqan account, and that account is created with an email address like any other.

Is student data safe?

Yes. Itqan shows no ads and does not sell student data. It collects only what the app needs to work, and you can delete your account and its content from inside the app at any time. See our privacy policy.

What platforms is Itqan on?

Itqan runs on the web (open the web app), on iPhone: download on the App Store, and on Android: get it on Google Play.

How much does it cost?

There's a free way to start, and an institution plan for schools and madrasas. Pricing is managed by the institution owner; get in touch for the current scope and pricing.
